Built in 2006 for a retired couple this design allowed for flexible living layouts. Built on a very restrictive sloping site with 2 large road boundaries setback requirements the house had a very small footprint on which it could be built. Two stories was really the only answer, which was great in regards to the views to the ocean and the Alps but caused issues in regards to the long term use of the house for the couple. So the lower level has been designed for all the day to day living and a bedroom was also placed on the lower level with full disabled facilities for any possible future needs. The upper level (which also has lift access) has the bedrooms, bathroom and large office.
